It’s really something that I got to see this film early on, as part of a group whose feedback they incorporated, and thankfully it turned out well. Like all the *Evil Dead* films, there are familiar elements, but I'll mention that it sticks with the feel of the recent installments while giving the characters a more developed history—it’s separate from everything else, so you could even watch it without knowing anything about *Evil Dead*. It stands out as the strongest in the remake series.
