"Everything Everywhere All at Once has to be considered among the very best films released this year, and it’s sure to bring Daniels wider recognition. It's almost embarrassing to consider how many big-budget Hollywood productions fail to achieve even a fraction of the originality, creativity, excitement, and emotional depth on display here, especially given the film’s modest cost. Michelle Yeoh is at the forefront of a movie that also celebrates the career of an actress who, at 59, participates in some incredibly bizarre action sequences alongside a remarkable stunt team. While the dynamic between mother and daughter forms the story's emotional center and takes a fairly conventional route, and perhaps could have benefited from additional scenes to make the ending even more impactful, it still manages to evoke tears and real worry for what happens to the people involved. From a technical standpoint, every aspect is so inventive that the phrase "you’ve never seen anything like this" isn't an overstatement. Go see it on the big screen!"
