Space exploration stories seem to be gaining popularity in movies and beyond. Several solid films—not just science fiction, but grounded in actual science—have come out recently. This one initially appeared to be among them until the very end. It seemed promising, but the ending ultimately undermined everything. It felt more like a documentary-adventure-drama presented as a found-footage film. I’d been wanting to see it ever since learning about 'The Last Days on Mars,' because there were comparisons between the two. They seem quite similar, aside from the different planetary settings they depict. Almost all of the movie gave the impression of an authentic mission, with the exception of the ending. The writer, director, and actors all delivered good performances. The story unfolds entirely aboard a spaceship, with a few scenes set on Jupiter's moon Europa, which is clearly a constructed environment. If you’re interested in space travel ideas, you should find it enjoyable. It had a similar feel to 'The Martian,' but its lack of well-known actors probably kept it from generating more attention. Many of you have likely already seen it; if not, give it a try—it's worthwhile for fans of science fiction. _6/10_
