While _Escape Plan 2_ does have a few worthwhile moments near its conclusion, it represents a significant decline in quality compared to the initial film—which wasn't particularly impressive to begin with. Even setting aside the contrast with its predecessor, the movie’s opening sections are noticeably flawed.
