It’s really something else—not entirely original, perhaps, but an uncommon sort of movie. There are several appealing characters and performers, making it passably enjoyable. The story unfolds against the setting of Disneyland in Florida, following a small family with two young children who appear to be having a pleasant day at the park. The narrative primarily follows the father, whose inability to ignore his attraction to two French girls he repeatedly encounters leads him to make errors as a parent. Additionally, odd and unfamiliar occurrences threaten his family’s stability. The film blends elements of fantasy and realism, establishing its own unique style. I initially perceived it as a gradual progression toward the latter part of the movie, but the unexpected turn genuinely surprised me. It's not earth-shattering by any means, but for what it is—a smaller production—it was adequate. I don’t believe the film crosses the line in terms of insulting the Disney park or its enthusiasts; their decision to simply overlook it rather than pursue legal action seems like a sensible course. It portrays an everyday situation that could happen anywhere, at any time, and so finds itself interwoven with this popular destination for children. Regardless of its location, the movie is geared toward adult viewers. I believe it’s worth watching without setting your hopes too high. _6/10_
