This sequel feels pretty much like the first one, and at least it meets a basic standard for follow-ups. My reaction to *Enola Holmes 2* mirrors my thoughts on the initial film. Millie Bobby Brown carries the movie well, and the actors in supporting roles are fine, but the story itself isn’t particularly gripping. I question whether this narrative really needed two hours of screen time. Regardless, it did provide enough enjoyment for me. I value what the story is trying to say, and I think they've lessened the direct addressing of the audience—something that felt excessive in the 2020 version. It’s probable that more installments are on their way, which isn’t a problem as long as the core cast stays involved.
