It takes a while to get going, but *'Enigma'* ultimately provides an enjoyable movie experience. The initial portion felt sluggish; Jericho (Dougray Scott) and the narrative itself seemed rather dull at first. Fortunately, things improved considerably, and I found myself appreciating both aspects, with Scott giving a commendable performance. The cast includes Kate Winslet as Hester, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Puck, and Tom Hollander as Guy. The story centers on World War II and the work of those who cracked codes during that time. While I don’t claim to be an expert on the people at Bletchley Park, it's interesting to see a plot involving them, even if it’s imagined. The film also features a pleasing score composed by John Barry—his last officially credited one, as far as I know. It isn’t particularly striking, but it’s not something I’ll easily dismiss either. It's worth watching.
