It's a pleasing and skillfully crafted suspense film, despite utilizing recognizable plot elements. The story centers on two law enforcement personnel—one adhering to ethical standards, the other with considerably more dubious methods—who become isolated within an area descending into turmoil following an in-custody death that ignites intense civil disturbance fueled by racial divides. As they struggle for survival and seek refuge, the strain intensifies, stemming not only from the violent demonstrations outside but also from the increasing lack of confidence between them. The building sense of dread is undoubtedly what makes this film stand out most. Although the initial premise isn't groundbreaking, the movie still delivers unexpected moments. I was honestly caught off guard by how the story concluded, and it resonated with me powerfully. If you’re a fan of intense, claustrophobic movies such as Training Day (2001) or Athena (2022), this Danish production is certainly worth watching.
