The movie has absolutely nothing to do with the Empire State Building; seeing that building on the poster made me assume I was going to watch something similar to 'White House Down,' a film about defending against an attack. The promotional image also suggests it's full of action, but that’s not what it turned out to be—it's actually a crime-thriller based on true events. The shifts in scenes and the way characters act felt jarring, making it difficult to maintain a sense of balance throughout the narrative. I remained engaged because it was inspired by something real; if it had been entirely made up, I would have thought the writer struggled with developing believable characters and crafting a coherent plot. However, the acting elevated things and brought the movie to a satisfying finish. Dwayne Johnson’s performance stood out, even though he wasn't really the focus of the story, along with Liam Hemsworth and Michael Angarano. A few aspects could have been improved for maximum impact. Ultimately, it will provide some entertainment, but it probably won’t stick with you for very long. 6/10
