The movie attempts to convey multiple messages, but falls short in every aspect. The promotional material fails to indicate its nature as a political comedy-drama, which is another area where it doesn't deliver. Following the screening, I spoke with seven people who shared identical sentiments: disappointment and confusion regarding the film’s purpose. My wife and I share our thoughts on movies via our YouTube channel, @Back2UsReviews, and we were quite let down by this one; it's now clear why James L. Brooks hasn't achieved significant success since 1997. It’s unfortunate that Hans Zimmer contributed to what can only be described as a terrible film.
