The film *Dust Bunny* doesn’t offer a groundbreaking perspective on grief or trauma, yet it still provides an enjoyable viewing. The initial idea is fairly simple, and the special effects aren't particularly impressive, but everything feels made with care and a clear sense of direction. It conveys a hopeful message about difficult subjects, presented within a lighthearted and gentle framework that, despite some depictions of violence that viewers should be aware of, could appeal to people of different ages. Bryan Fuller brings to mind the idea that the frightening things we imagine are just as potent as the suffering that creates them, and that bravery isn't about not being afraid, but about finding someone who supports your reality enough to help you overcome the darkness.
