I'm struggling to understand what changes were made to the narrative. The initial section felt genuinely well-developed, and I found myself becoming invested in the characters. However, this film appears to be stitching together disparate elements from the books, seemingly trying to forge something new, but it’s backfiring. Many of the characters' defining characteristics have disappeared or been altered beyond recognition. What happened to my Chani? Furthermore, the conclusion is baffling; I don't grasp why the houses would possess the power to override a decision made by the emperor, nor what authority granted them that ability. Paul still held dominion over the spice production.
