It’s a pleasant film, generally speaking. However, it didn’t reach exceptional heights. Both the performances and the directing felt rather commonplace. Numerous editing errors were noticeable throughout. Certain moments seemed hurried, while others lacked necessary background information. Conversely, some sequences dragged on without purpose. The plot contained several instances of illogical situations. Initially, the creatures are presented as a significant threat, prompting characters to flee in fear. Later, they’re depicted as being able to be managed similarly to livestock, albeit with considerable effort. Then you witness an entire group using them for transportation—complete with tents and supplies. I found myself laughing out loud at that point. Despite all of this, I did find it enjoyable.
