It lived up to the hype, a genuinely exciting experience! I found 'Dune' to be good, but I also thought it was clearly designed as an introduction to what would come next—and my hope was that the follow-up would build on its foundation, which is exactly what’s happened. 'Dune: Part Two' really is excellent! My attention did dip a bit around the halfway point, much like it did with the first film, but that feeling didn't stick around for long. Overall, it’s fantastic. The performances are superb, the visuals are stunning—those sandworms were something else—and the music is powerful; you can always count on Hans Zimmer. Timothée Chalamet returns to his role, as do Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Dave Bautista, and others. Javier Bardem was a particular highlight for me; he’s fantastic from beginning to end. I'm eager to see 'Dune Messiah'! It’s good to hear that director Denis Villeneuve isn’t planning on hurrying the next installment out—and he’s right to take his time.
