This movie contains contradictions; it feels forward-thinking yet displays racism, and shifts between moments of warmth and intense sadness. It attempts to be a story with a point, but also comes across as indifferent. Honestly, I’m not sure how to describe it: Pink Elephants on Parade is just like that. Final rating:★★★ - I enjoyed it.
