It’s disheartening to see another movie that seems to portray terrorism with a sympathetic light. This marks the second film I've encountered that suggests evil prevails over good, which is particularly troubling coming from a country like Canada. The prior one was 'The Wall.' There should be absolutely no leniency shown toward terrorism and Islamism. If the setting had been shifted to a different part of the world, it could have potentially been an enjoyable thriller with a worthwhile message. The promotional tagline was especially problematic; you can’t selectively view terrorism as sometimes acceptable. Despite that, Sean Bean delivered a solid performance. Aside from the initial scenes, the film feels like a single-day occurrence and largely unfolds within a domestic setting. It presented events solely from one viewpoint, which ultimately conveyed an inaccurate message! I'm unsure why some filmmakers seem intent on spreading misinformation; it only serves to encourage evil over good. While this movie might achieve commercial success in the Middle East, its reception would likely be far less positive elsewhere. This is easily a film that can be skipped for the year, decade, and beyond. _1/10_
