It wasn’t awful, though certainly not impressive. The production was reasonably well-handled, featuring some serviceable design elements—it felt a little familiar, almost as if it borrowed from various existing science fiction horror films. I appreciated the performances of a few cast members, especially Amy Manson, but beyond that, this feels like yet another unsuccessful effort to bring the video game franchise to the big screen; it’s reminiscent of Resident Evil blended with countless zombie and monster movies we've already seen. 1.75/5
