I really liked this movie. I’d heard about the behind-the-scenes issues surrounding *'Don’t Worry Darling,'* and that’s why I avoided learning anything about the story – which definitely enhanced my experience. The beginning was particularly captivating; it unfolds well, doling out information gradually. While the conclusion didn't quite resonate as powerfully, I still appreciate it. The performances are excellent, even though Florence Pugh is considerably better than everyone else... and that’s not meant to be a criticism of them at all—it just highlights how remarkable her performance is. This is only the third film of hers that I’ve seen… I need to watch more of her work. Aside from Pugh's performance, I was pleasantly surprised by Harry Styles; he proves he can act. However, I do think Shia LaBeouf would have brought something even greater to the part. Chris Pine and Gemma Chan also deliver solid performances, as does Olivia Wilde (who directed). It’s not a flawless film, certainly. But it's entertaining, without question. It’s all a matter of personal taste, but I genuinely enjoyed this movie from 2022.
