Donald finds himself facing an internal struggle. He has plans to go out with Daisy but lacks the funds to do so. Spotting his nephews’ savings jar, he decides there's no problem in taking some money for the evening! He enjoys a pleasant time out and about, but on the return journey, feelings of remorse begin to set in. He views himself as someone who has broken the law, stolen from others, and is generally unreliable; paranoia seems to be everywhere, from his own image to a cat rummaging through trash to an ordinary street lamp! How should he correct his mistake? The film delivers a clear "crime doesn't pay" message, though it’s presented within many silly situations as the duck’s mind conjures up various punishments for his actions. The animation is lively and engaging, with plenty of movement and even some darker moments throughout its eight-minute runtime, blending morality with playful antics.
