The film turns out to be a good, endearing watch that marks another great production venture from Alia Bhatt. It sets up an engaging coming of age premise that blends personal identity, youthful awkwardness, and emotional growth, backed by wonderful songs that fit seamlessly into the narrative rhythm. Aarushi Bajaj was so so good in the lead role, carrying the entire film almost single handedly with her infectious screen presence, vulnerability, and sharp comic timing. She makes every emotional beat feel genuine and relatable, ensuring that the character remains deeply captivating even when the narrative begins to wobble. However, the second half noticeably dips due to flat storytelling and predictable narrative choices that slow down the initial momentum. While the pacing stumbles slightly before reaching the finish line, Aarushi's stellar performance, the fantastic music, and the heartfelt execution make it a thoroughly enjoyable watch overall.
