"Do Revenge" is most enjoyable when Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke are given space to shine, as their characters' dynamic is captivating thanks to their engaging performances and clever dialogue. This movie attempts a satirical take on the familiar high school genre—a small complaint, but the actors seem older than the teenagers they’re playing—and it does provide an unexpectedly fun experience for almost its entire length. However, some of the plot developments feel exaggerated, and the story follows predictable patterns, which keeps it from breaking free from standard conventions, even though the film's visuals are quite striking and deserve recognition. It's a decent production overall. Rating: B-
