The character presented here is shockingly unpleasant. The performance of the actor playing the antagonist has genuinely angered me; I found myself wishing I could confront him, and his brand of brutality was difficult to endure. I’m curious about the model they used for this character's design because he comes across as both calculated and disturbed. The man he became is truly awful, with his story intertwined with a terrible past and appalling mistreatment. The way the people affected are reacting might resemble "Stockholm Syndrome," which made their situation deeply upsetting to witness. It’s difficult to watch this film because of how effectively the actors portray such evil characters, but I'm holding out hope that the victims will eventually find some measure of payback or even revenge.
