It seems this film aimed to emulate Ghost Ship, or perhaps achieve a similar level of quality, but fell short of that mark. While I found the characters reasonably interesting and the directing competent, the movie lacked visual scope. The monster appeared weightless and unconvincing in its presentation; it simply didn't seem plausible. It felt like an arbitrary "scary thing" moving through the story without purpose or motivation.
