Goodness gracious – what is Guy Pearce doing in this mess? Following some trouble from his history, he’s sent to be the lawman of a quiet little town. That is, until a group of bikers shows up with plans to rob the bank and an armored truck. Will he and his dependable partner "Matt" (Michael Sirow) manage to stop them...? And I neglected to mention – the marshal refuses to use a firearm! The next 90 minutes are filled with silliness, accompanied by a somewhat amusing country-style musical score. It resembles something made by film students. The conversations are ridiculous; the bikers aren't scary at all—they’re as unthreatening as leftover pizza—and the conclusion feels like it was filmed using a single camera, implying the person being targeted wasn’t even present when their would-be attacker filmed his part. Then, suddenly, a woman appears riding a horse! The film raises questions – did the lead actor do a favor for director York Alec Shackleton, and if so, just how significant was it? It must have been substantial!
