Blomkamp, from New Zealand, delivered an exceptional first effort. It was consistently captivating and held my attention throughout. This film, similar to 'Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World', felt like it deserved further installments. I thought it surpassed his later movie, 'Elysium,' and I haven’t seen any of his other work; I'm just hoping he doesn't become a filmmaker known for only one good idea, like M. Night Shyamalan did.
