I think Eva Green is a capable performer, which makes it puzzling that she’s involved in something like this. "Dirty Angels" suffers from an excessively theatrical and overtly patriotic narrative, portraying a supposedly benevolent United States battling Middle Eastern terrorists—a scenario we've seen countless times before. The plot unfolds exactly as you might expect, with the malevolent terrorists swiftly defeated by a group of female operatives who are virtuous but appear disheveled. The action sequences are poorly executed and seem unrealistic. The characters lack depth and feel generic. I only made it about two-thirds through before giving up; it simply isn't enjoyable on any level, and it’s disappointing to see talent wasted. It's a real letdown.
