There’s something undeniably striking about *Dinosaur*, especially when considering certain aspects of it. I found myself enjoying the experience of watching it. The animation holds up well even twenty years later; the landscapes are still gorgeous, and while the animated beings don't appear as exceptional as they might have once seemed, they remain appealing to me. The actors providing the voices deliver performances that are subtle but fitting, a quality shared by other elements like the music and story. D. B. Sweeney takes on the main character, Aladar. His vocal performance isn’t exactly what I would have hoped for, though he does an acceptable job. Alfre Woodard makes a notable impression as Plio; her voice was immediately recognizable from my memory of seeing her in *'Desperate Housewives'* many years ago. I think the film could have benefited from more powerful vocal performances and a more intense musical score, but it’s clear that there are plenty of things to appreciate here.
