This is without question the least impressive James Bond movie released by the studio so far (though I haven't yet viewed 'The World Is Not Enough', 'Quantum of Solace', or 'Spectre'), but it does manage to have a few enjoyable parts; much like with bands such as The Rolling Stones or Pink Floyd, even its weaker aspects are superior to most other films. It’s disappointing that it turned out to be Brosnan's final appearance in the role—and while Craig brought a welcome shift with his more grounded approach reminiscent of Connery's era, that style eventually wore thin, seemingly for him as well.
