The absence of something solid to ground it causes much of the suspense to feel arbitrary and sudden. While there is some organization present, it doesn’t do enough to hold one's attention or spark interest. The characters aren’t enjoyable or appealing, the setting seems forced and isn’t developed well, and what’s meant to be frightening at the close arrives unexpectedly. It simply isn’t a noteworthy film.
