Dhurandhar was enjoyable. It wasn’t exceptional, but there weren’t many things to fault with it either. It does lean into a very male-driven narrative, and that didn't bother me. Those who are expressing disapproval probably aren't the intended viewers. The final portion includes some questionable decisions in the storyline and instances of plot protection, but this is fiction, not reality. A slightly shorter length would have been an improvement; three and a half hours feels excessive. The film pushes the boundaries of violence for Bollywood standards, though nothing too extreme or overly frequent. Ranveer portrays a sense of fragility and realism most of the time, with exceptions when he fully embodies Tommy Vercetty. Considering Aditya’s age is only 42, it's possible his early influences included Grand Theft Auto as a young man.
