This movie feels like a family outing, though I have to admit, I’ve always enjoyed the Minions, especially their first solo adventure—that earlier film was really great and entertaining. It's surprising how this series has already made it to three installments. While the Minions certainly helped establish its popularity with animation lovers, in this movie they felt sidelined, which is a real disappointment. They simply didn’t get enough screen time, and that negatively impacted the overall experience for those who are fans of them. The plot revolves around Gru discovering he has a twin brother, Dru, whose ambition is to follow in their father's footsteps as a supervillain. However, the reformed Gru isn't inclined to assist him; instead, he manipulates Dru to resolve some issues he hasn’t been able to fix himself. The story itself is passable, but there were moments of amusement. It seems like they might have dropped a clue about what could happen in a future movie. I suspect children will find it enjoyable if they don't go in with high expectations. Overall, it’s something you could watch once. _6/10_
