I’ve been feeling lately that being someone who appreciates movies means making an effort to watch more films made by women and those exploring LGBTQ+ themes. Luckily, my school library has a selection of these kinds of works that I've started looking through from time to time. Even though Deitch’s movie is a romantic story about two women, I still found it quite enjoyable. I’m happy I gave it a try and chose to broaden my tastes as an enthusiastic film lover.
