My expectations were high given the talented cast and my fondness for science fiction and classic disaster films, so I was genuinely let down. Since I purchased the DVD secondhand, I feel like I didn’t overpay; it's an acceptable way to spend some time. I think people who enjoy disaster movies or are fans of the actors would appreciate this one. It might be worth renting or buying a used copy, or even getting it new if you find it for around five dollars, but spending more than that wouldn’t seem sensible or like a good deal.
