This film continues the story of _Deep Blue Sea_, but it's considerably less impressive than the first one. The initial movie was flawed enough on its own, and this follow-up simply compounds those problems. It’s safe to say that _Deep Blue Sea 2_ isn't needed for the original series, and viewers would be better off skipping it altogether. Final rating: ★★ - There were a few elements I found enjoyable, but ultimately, it didn’t work out well.
