The film’s visual elements are impressive; specifically, the camera work, scene design, and overall arrangement of shots are well-executed. However, the pacing feels slow, and I struggled to grasp why the characters acted as they did. It's possible my lack of understanding regarding the connection between Korean and Chinese national identities is a factor, as that seemed relevant to the story. Ultimately, I didn’t perceive what made the Chinese woman so captivating for the Korean detective.
