Even on a second viewing, this isn’t the kind of 90s thriller that truly works, as there wasn't enough intrigue to carry it through its roughly 100 minutes; I think trimming about fifteen to twenty minutes would have helped. It was pleasant to see Goldie Hawn in something other than a comedy and John Heard does have some good scenes. The ending itself proved diverting, but most of what came before felt sluggish and unremarkable. **2.5/5**
