It's clear this film was intended as a throwback to 80s slasher movies, yet something essential feels missing, and it’s noticeable. I didn’t find myself connecting with any of the characters, and though there’s bloodshed, it doesn’t offer anything fresh or memorable. The pervasive darkness throughout the movie also contributes to the experience not being enjoyable. From a technical standpoint, things are well-executed, but ultimately, it just isn't entertaining.
