_Death on the Nile_ trudges toward its ending in a way that fails to engage you. Poirot’s history provides some interest, and there are several strong performances, particularly from the actresses, but generally the movie resembles an unwelcome round of “Guess Who?” after you've consumed two bottles of NyQuil and have been asked to figure out the murderer following two hours of dullness.
