It’s a really enjoyable film that I anticipate revisiting, and I certainly suggest checking it out. It serves as an excellent illustration of what a movie can be. That might seem like a simple observation, but many films—particularly those employing complex narratives—could learn from the way this one is put together. There are roughly ten different storylines unfolding, and they’re remarkably well-managed. Like in "Crash," "Love, Actually," "Snatch", and "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels," there are key instances where these stories intersect, but without resorting to abrupt shifts or needing to repeat parts of the story from other characters' viewpoints. The film progresses smoothly from one event to the next, speeding up at a point, and never feels sidetracked. There’s a large cast of compelling characters, each driven by their own reasons, and the increasingly bizarre situations that arise are all properly introduced beforehand, so they don’t feel sudden or out of place. Even if you take nothing else from it, Alan Tudyk's descent into madness as he grapples with being drugged is fantastic—a reason in itself to watch. Unless you have extreme anxiety surrounding funerals, I think you’ll find this movie quite entertaining.
