I’m honestly puzzled by this movie; I can’t quite grasp its purpose or message. Perhaps it resonates more with an American audience. Initially, I anticipated a clever and enjoyable comedy, but the final product was far from what I envisioned. It seemed to focus on student government issues, which wouldn't have been problematic if that had remained the central theme. However, they presented it as a comedy, and I didn’t find any humor in it; instead, it shifted into something about racism. I struggle to comprehend American racism—why it is so unnecessarily complex. Given the current state of affairs in the United States, this film only exacerbates the situation. As someone who isn't white, Black, or American, I didn’t consider it a worthwhile film. Furthermore, I can’t fathom why they are planning a television series based on it. No disrespect to those who enjoyed it; it seems I simply wasn’t the intended viewer. My rating and review reflect my personal feelings about its merits, and I hold no animosity toward the movie itself. I'm done here! 3/10
