The movie proved to be quite humorous, and Ryan Reynolds seemed perfectly suited for the part he played. However, the suggestive jokes did become excessive at times. While the script was strong and the filmmaking itself was skillfully done, it ventured into a space that appeared to be its target of satire. I eventually lost interest in the familiar action hero tropes. ★★★½
