It was really enjoyable seeing Ryan Reynolds back at it with the humor as Deadpool last night. The movie included numerous references to Marvel, jokes directed at production companies and the people involved in making the film—the cast, crew, and even background performers. Given my interest in this field and how much I’m involved in it, I consider this a significant achievement. I appreciated Jon Favreau's appearance as Happy Hogan during the opening scenes; however, I was disappointed that there wasn't at least a brief cameo from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), though understandably, it wasn’t his story to tell (RIP Iron Man).
