The film makes some significant changes from the initial installment regarding its characters, yet _Deadpool 2_ remains genuinely amusing—perhaps not as consistently hilarious as it believes, but undeniably very funny. Ryan Reynolds is again excellent in the lead role. I’ve never been quite as enthusiastic about either of these films as many others seem to be, though I do enjoy them, and that counts for something. _Final rating:★★★ - I liked it.
