To be straightforward, I think this film is awful. The only redeeming quality I can identify is the visual effects; they’re really impressive, particularly considering Paul Matthews was involved. He typically produces movies that are hard to sit through and has effects that would be subpar even by The Asylum's usual standards—films like *Berserker: Hell's Warrior* and *Merlin the Return* serve as examples. Still, I did find myself enjoying this movie for some reason. It’s one of those unusual instances where I’d classify it as a guilty pleasure. I would suggest it to viewers seeking out something that is entertainingly bad.
