The film was truly impressive; I’d give it an 8 out of 10. It would have earned a perfect score if not for some noticeable shortcomings. Specifically, the performance by the actress portraying the woman being overrun by zombies on top of the car wasn't convincing—her screams felt artificial and almost mocking. I also thought Maggie’s storyline deserved more development, but those are my only issues. Despite these points, it remains a worthwhile watch. However, be aware that understanding the plot requires familiarity with Dead Rising 1 and 2; otherwise, the narrative might seem completely incomprehensible.
