The second installment in the "Night Watch" series is easier to follow, but it feels artificial and uneven. A significant portion of the movie was devoted to a dull and uninspired romantic storyline involving the main characters, and beyond that, the film’s excessive length of two hours and thirty minutes resulted in a plot that felt absurd and self-mocking. It was impossible to engage with the material on any meaningful level; even the ending resembled a poorly made romantic comedy. The action sequence towards the conclusion did offer some enjoyment.
