The title was appealing, and the premise seemed promising, but the narrative felt underdeveloped, serving mostly as a foundation for something more. Even though the film runs just under ninety minutes, there were noticeable lulls in the storytelling—or perhaps it could be described as slow pacing. It began well, depicting the evolution of two childhood friends nearing the end of high school. Then, abruptly, their dynamic shifted when one revealed his sexuality to the other. What followed was a presentation of both the advantages and disadvantages of how their friendship might progress afterward. The family dynamics were present but explored primarily through the lens of a friend observing how unexpected changes would occur in such circumstances. There were some amusing moments, though not particularly memorable. The acting was agreeable, as was the direction, despite the script originating from a list of rejected projects. I’d say it was moderately successful. It incorporates familiar teenage film tropes, but remains watchable, possibly especially for younger viewers. For others, it's suitable as light entertainment, although not necessarily essential viewing. _5/10_
