The runtime of this movie stretches beyond its stated 100 minutes. Ben Affleck portrays the central character, who gains heightened senses—particularly hearing and awareness of movement—following an accident involving hazardous materials. By day, he works as a lawyer; by night, like "Spiderman," he operates as a vigilante in New York’s “Hell’s Kitchen,” attempting to rid the area of criminals. His current focus is on the "Kingpin" (Colin Farrell), a formidable adversary whom the legal system can't imprison, and his goal is to see him brought to justice. The film moves at a rapid pace and presents a vibrant spectacle, full of action sequences with decent visual effects and a somewhat unique concept. However, the conversations are rather ordinary, Farrell’s performance is quite over-the-top, and the fight scenes become monotonous and lack excitement after repeated viewings. Affleck doesn't project much personality, and the romantic storyline involving Jennifer Garner ("Electric Nachos" or something along those lines) felt overly sentimental and slowed things down considerably, leading to a conclusion that seemed rather silly. It’s an enjoyable diversion, but it’s not something I’d feel compelled to rewatch.
