Al Pacino was particularly impressive; without him, the film wouldn’t have been nearly as captivating. Fans will undoubtedly love his performance, and others will appreciate the beautiful drama-music combination. His portrayal earned him a Golden Globe Award nomination. It felt like an appropriate role for an actor of his age. These days, moviegoers are often preoccupied with upcoming superhero films; however, heartwarming movies such as this one remind them that there’s still hope for smaller-scale productions—provided audiences are open to them.
