I gave up on this one after roughly 40 minutes. Initially, the narrative seemed unsure whether to be a suspenseful plot or a portrayal of aging. The absence of any connection between the main characters was quite noticeable; they don’t come across as newlyweds, and it doesn't seem like they have a shared past either. Later on, after already being suspected of accidental manslaughter, facing significant financial problems, and having taken money that somehow wasn’t flagged during the police inquiry, the more intelligent character readily agrees to cover the cost of cremation when the officer mentions it. If characters behave in such an unrealistic way, they deserve whatever misfortune is headed their direction, so I'm no longer invested in seeing what happens or how it impacts them. It’s a shame for the performers; I believe they put in effort, but ultimately the story falls apart.
